As we approach the festive season, Kitchens by J S Geddes are busy ensuring our clients' kitchens are ready to go for the big day in December! We are still involved with many events going on in Ayrshire and eager to get involved with local charities and causes. We continue to develop our team through training and have many exciting projects being carried out!
This month Ayrshire Commerce hosted their Connect event at Ayrshire Hospice. This was a great networking event and we learned about the great work Ayrshire Hospice do for the local community and beyond. Ayrshire Hospice is a cause we always do our best to support at J S Geddes and recently sponsored the canapes for their Autumn Ball which was a great success for the charity.
This month our team continued to build their appliance knowledge. This month they firstly visited Gaggenau, London and got to see the new developments being made with their appliances along with how to use them and who they will benefit most. The following week they went to Oxford to visit Miele. The training involved a cooking demonstration and gave the team a chance to try out the new appliances for themselves including the Generation 7000 coffee machine and new induction technology. We are looking forward to getting these new products in the show room for our clients to see!
We were delighted when West Homes contacted us to tell us about their new development in Bearsden, Glasgow. This project comprises of 4 luxury apartments and they needed kitchens to meet the high standard of the build. We had no doubts we could exceed this requirement and our designer, Shaun Dunbar, got straight to work. He designed 4 contemporary kitchens using Poggenpohl furniture and Diore solid surface worktops for each apartment. This month the first two kitchens were completed, and their new owners have begun to use their new kitchens.
This month Homes and Interiors magazine had a feature of a stunning 3 storey development which features a J S Geddes Poggenpohl kitchen. "The attention to detail was astonishing", was just one of the lovely comments we received from the client on this project.
